Meet Mike

Michael Jensen is an Elder Law Attorney, an active member of the Utah State Bar's Elder Law Section and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

He earned his Law Degree, Cum Laude, at Boston College Law School; M.B.A. at Harvard; and B.S. in Physics and Math at the University of Utah, graduating Cum Laude.  Mr. Jensen’s law practice is mainly Elder Law, including contested and uncontested guardianship and conservatorship matters as well as other civil litigation.  He has successfully argued on Elder Law and other issues before the Utah Supreme Court and the Utah Court of Appeals.  He has also written many articles for the Utah Spirit magazine, and copies of those articles are available under the tab of "Mike’s Articles” and can also be found by clicking this link:  Mike's Articles.

Mike is currently the 2011-2012 President-Elect of the Utah Aging Alliance and recently served four years as Treasurer of the organization. He also served a 6-year term as a member of the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association with one year as its President. And, he completed a three-year term as a Director of the Sarah Daft Assisted Living Facility and served as its Vice President.

Mike is also currently Chair of the Legislative Committee for the Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar and concurrently is also chairing the Ad Hoc Legislative Committee for changes to the Probate Code for the Elder Law and the Estate Planning Sections of the Utah State Bar.
